Eduard Habsburg’s handbook “The Habsburg Way: Seven Rules for Turbulent Times” was published by Hitel Publishing House with the professional assistance of the Otto von Habsburg Foundation. At the event, the author, then Hungary’s Ambassador to the Holy See, greeted the audience via a video message, while Gergely Prőhle, Director of the Foundation, discussed with Zsolt Sándor Rády, Editor of the Hungarian Hyperion magazine, and Csaba Gábor Kárpáti, the editor in charge of the book, the life-management lessons drawn from the centuries-old history of the dynasty.
Janne Haaland Matlary, former Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, was present at the launch of the Hungarian edition of her latest volume. In an age of turmoil and crises, it is refreshing to read a non-mainstream opinion from a knowledgeable foreign author. “The Slow Death of Democracy. The New Intolerance” was released by Helikon Publishing in collaboration with our Foundation. The author’s interlocutor was Géza Jeszenszky, historian, former foreign minister of the Antall government, and former Hungarian ambassador to Oslo.
