Gusztáv Gratz, born 150 years ago, was an important figure of the legitimacy movement between the two world wars, whose career encompassed a wide range of fields and left a lasting mark in many areas. Born into a Lutheran pastoral background, he was engaged in the affairs of the German minority, in domestic economic, financial and foreign policy, he was a journalist as well as having aspirations as a historian. The Otto von Habsburg Foundation rents premises in the national headquarters of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Hungary, making the theme of the meeting particularly in keeping with the spirit of the place.
