Otto von Habsburg recalled his encounter with the Queen in the European Parliament, where she spoke in favour of the early enlargement of the European Community.
The name of Otto von Habsburg was associated with the Hotel Gellért as early as the mid-1920s through the so-called “Otto dinners”, and after the change of regime, a suite was named after him as he was a frequent guest.
After the traditional Holy Mass, György Szapáry gave a speech in the banquet hall of the Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma, followed by a round table discussion with other Benedictine alumni.
