The Otto von Habsburg Foundation and the Hanns Seidel Foundation are organising a joint conference and roundtable discussion on the role of Otto von Habsburg in Europe on 14 November 2022 in Munich.

The conference in Munich, part of a series of events to mark the 110th anniversary of the birth of our namesake, aims to showcase Otto von Habsburg’s work for a united, social, Christian and subsidiarity-based Europe and to assess his rich political legacy. The two keynote speakers will be Theo Waigel, former Federal Minister of Finance and former President of the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU), and Ernő Schaller-Baross, Member of the European Parliament, Ministerial Commissioner and member of the Board of Trustees of our Foundation.
