On 13 October 2023, at the University in Nancy, Gergely Fejérdy, Deputy Scientific Director of our Foundation, gave a lecture on Otto von Habsburg’s relations to Lorraine and his commitment to Europe. On 6 December 2022, the Embassy of Hungary in Lisbon, in cooperation with the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto, organized a conference on the occasion of the centenary of the death of Blessed Charles IV, where the exhibition ‘Life and Memory’, compiled by the Otto von Habsburg Foundation, was presented.
On 24 November, at the House of Europe in the French capital, our Foundation commemorated Otto von Habsburg, the former heir to the throne, with a conference and exhibition on the 110th anniversary of his birth.
The Embassy of Hungary in Lisbon, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the Austrian Embassy in Lisbon organised a conference in memory of Blessed Charles IV, who died in exile in Madeira on 1 April 1922. Gergely Fejérdy, Deputy Director of the Otto von Habsburg Foundation, also gave a lecture on the occasion of the centenary.
