The children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Otto von Habsburg and Regina of Saxe-Meiningen held a family reunion at the places of Regina’s childhood, at Heldburg Castle and Elisabethenburg in Meiningen, where – guided by the Director of the Museum, Philipp Adlung, and Gergely Prőhle – they visited the exhibition created with the collaboration of our Foundation. They also visited the legendary Meiningen theatre, where it was recalled that 150 years ago the theatre’s company, founded by the George II, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen (or the “Theatre Prince”), toured Hungary for the first time.
