The name of Otto von Habsburg was associated with the Hotel Gellért as early as the mid-1920s through the so-called “Otto dinners”, and after the change of regime, a suite was named after him as he was a frequent guest.
Otto von Habsburg attracted great public attention in the spring of 1989, during his first official appearance in Hungary for seventy years.
