The University of Public Service, the Deutsch-Ungarisches Jugendwerk (Hungarian-German Youth Society) and the Andrássy Universität Budapest celebrated the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Hungarian-(West)German diplomatic relations with an international conference on 4 December 2023 at the former Festetics Palace.
This year marks the fifth time we have hosted a gala dinner in honour of Otto von Habsburg’s birthday. On 18 November, once again, our guests were invited to the Pesti Vigadó.
In mid-September, two members of our Foundation took part in a five-day research trip to the Hanns Seidel Foundation’s archives in Munich with the aim of finding written and audiovisual material related to Otto von Habsburg.
On 27 June, Andreas Scheuer, Member of the Bundestag and former Secretary General of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria, visited our Foundation.
