Commemorating the 107th anniversary of Otto von Habsburg’s birth

On 22 November a special commemorative event was organised by the Foundation in the Hungarian National Museum to mark the 107th anniversary of his birth. The guest speaker was Wolfgang Schüssel, former Austrian Chancellor, who gave his keynote address following a speech by Gergely Gulyás, Minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office.

A two-day international conference entitled Otto von Habsburg and the regime change was organised on 10-11 October 2019, in the building of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. This was the Otto von Habsburg Foundation’s first public event in Budapest.

The Otto von Habsburg Foundation is organising a conference entitled Otto von Habsburg and the regime change on 10-11 October 2019. The conference is the first public realization of the Foundation’s objectives; the digitization of Otto von Habsburg’s material legacy, providing access to research, and the revival of his spiritual heritage.
