Among the Otto von Habsburg Foundation’s holdings are numerous diaries by governesses and tutors, documenting the upbringing of the imperial children. These records provide valuable insights into the everyday life of the family up to the mid-1930s. Beyond the constraints of court etiquette – or at times operating entirely within them – they occasionally reveal lighter, more personal moments from the children’s formative years.
On July 18, 2025, Edwin J. Feulner, former legendary president of The Heritage Foundation and a prominent figure in Republican politics, passed away at the age of 83. He had also been an associate of our namesake since the mid-1960s.
As in previous years, our articles were published in the renowned professional periodical, Levéltári Szemle (Journal of Archives), in the first and second issues of 2025.
